Welcome to the Miller Purnell and Bailey Surgery


We are open 8.00 am - 6.30 pm Monday to Friday and we are closed on Saturdays.  To see a doctor or nurse please telephone us or come into the surgery to book an appointment.   If two or more people in the family are ill and need to see the Doctor, then please make a seperate appointment for each person.

Appointments with a doctor are available during the hours listed below.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please inform the receptionist so that someone else can be offered a place.

If you are ill and need to be seen on the same day as a matter of urgency, please telephone surgery between 8am - 9am and where possible an appointment will be offered after morning surgery.

Outside Surgery Hours

For urgent appointments outside our normal surgery hours, please call the Emergency Number on: 0115 9322968.

Your call will be diverted to Derbyshire Health United, where experienced Doctors provide out of hours cover.  All calls are recorded.
